First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Leidos.
Financial Analyst
It was an in person interview. It was two part interview. First we were dividing into groups of 4 and given a Case study and we had to discuss for 30 minutes and present it to the interviewers. The second part was individual Behavioural interview, where two interviewers will sit in a room with your resume and ask you about your experience and possible technical question (Excel).
- How would you use VLookup
Systems Engineer
So, the interview process involved standard behavioural questions, and they really wanted to know about my motivations for applying. There was also a part where we discussed my past technical work experiences and how they might fit with what the company is currently working on. They had an initial technical submission as part of the application, but we didn't actually go over that during the interview.
- What do you know about what we do, and what motivates you to do the work we do here?
- Can you discuss your previous technical professional experiences and how they could relate to our current projects?
Software Engineer
Had a quick chat about my previous projects and work. It wasn't too intense. The hiring manager asked me a couple of specific things about whether I had experience with GUIs and certain programming languages. Honestly, it was one of the smoothest interviews I've been through.
- Do you have experience working with graphical user interfaces?
- Have you worked with specific programming languages?
Cloud Engineer
It was a panel interview where each person asked their own questions and assessed my answers based on how well I fit the job. They didn't ask many technical questions, mostly focusing on understanding my background and seeing if I was a good fit for what they need.
- Can you describe your experience in relation to what we're seeking?
- How do you see yourself fitting in with the team and our goals?
- Tell us about your experience, focusing on what we're looking for.
