Product Manager
I was contacted by a third-party recruiter about this opening at Itauseg, for a project on the core insurance platform. I had to fill out a Gupy form to proceed. I had an interview with this recruiter. Then she scheduled an interview with the hiring managers, but on the day of, it was canceled. They said the role was frozen. Felt disrespectful, to say the least. I'm not applying to Itaú anymore.

Intern
My internship interview at Itaú was quite good. The chat was relaxed and to the point, mostly about me, how I communicate, and if I'm into the sales side of things. I talked about why I want to join the bank, mentioning I like working with targets, dealing with people, and challenges, plus wanting to learn and grow there. I also mentioned I get along well with people, I'm organized, and keen to get better at sales and client relations. I showed I know the area I'd be working in and that I'm ready and eager to help the team by learning the day-to-day banking stuff hands-on. Overall, it felt like a behavioral interview, checking my attitude, initiative, and fit for the internship. I left feeling I communicated well, showed I'm interested in the role, and conveyed that I want to grow professionally at Itaú.

The first stage was a phone call, followed by a video call for the second stage. For the third stage, I went to the Aço building near Conceição metro station. There, they introduced the company, conducted sales dynamics, and for the second time, they said they would give feedback within 5 days, but they never did, not even providing any feedback.
- Could you simulate selling life insurance to a father of a family?

The interview process was organized and objective. It began with a presentation of the company and the role, followed by questions about my professional background, previous experiences, and behavioral competencies.
