First, there was a chat with the recruiter. Then, I talked with the team about the project and my experience. After that, I had a conversation with the coordinator about my career stage and if I was a good fit for the company. They mentioned the role was 100% remote, but then they asked me to travel to the city for an in-person interview. When I brought up the discrepancy, they asked if I had it recorded, so heads up, get it in writing or they might change their minds. Finally, they send the offer in writing.

It was a quick interview, they asked me to introduce myself, gave some info about college, some details about my experiences, which college subjects I liked, if I understood algorithms, object-oriented programming, programming logic, how I used OOP in college projects, if I knew SQL and Python, and why I chose my college. A very quick interview, I didn't get to talk more about myself, my expectations, my differentiators, I found the interview very technical, and a professional isn't just made of technical skills, I feel like soft skills aren't very important at Itaú.

Fui abordado no LinkedIn por uma recrutadora, marcamos uma conversa, mas quando cheguei era uma entrevista técnica, o que não foi me avisado. Foi uma vaga afirmativa PCD e sou autista. Outra pessoa entrou na reunião e fez perguntas uma atrás da outra, tentando me induzir ao erro e tornando a experiência ruim. Perguntaram se tenho contato com AWS e disseram que o modelo de contratação é híbrido, no Jabaquara, que é longe de onde moro. A impressão é que não leem currículo e são despreparados para entrevistar pessoas específicas. É preciso treinar os entrevistadores para lidar com pessoas neurodivergentes. Espero que considerem o feedback.
