The interview started off a bit rocky because the interviewer was over 10 minutes late with no heads-up email, which really set a negative tone. While the interview itself was okay, I have to say it wasn't my strongest performance, partly because of the rough start. After about two weeks of no response, I reached out to both the interviewer and the initial recruiter to check on my application, but never heard back. It's been over three months since the interview and I still haven't received even a standard rejection email. I found the lack of consideration for my time unacceptable, and it makes sense why this job has been open for so long.

The interview process was quite straightforward. After applying online, I was invited to a group interview with numerous other candidates. During the session, we were asked about our preferred books and took part in simulated customer and employee scenarios. Our French language skills were also assessed. A useful tip is that they tend to hire a significant number of people before the holiday season.

I applied online and then got an email to come in for an in-person group interview with 3 other people, a manager, and a longtime CER. It lasted less than an hour and was super chill. I'd suggest dressing business casual and arriving 10 minutes early. It was more hands-on than a typical interview. Be friendly with the other interviewees; it's not a competition, they really value collaboration and teamwork. When speaking, make eye contact and address the whole group. Try to be confident and keep your answers short and simple. I think I got hired because I took initiative, even if I rambled a bit. So if you don't have prior experience, just try your best to be outgoing. Good luck :)
