So, the interview took about two hours and was split into two parts. It was kinda competitive with about 60 people there for the group interview, but the vibe was good. First up, they checked our availability and asked us to introduce ourselves and say why we wanted the job. Then, they cut about half the people. The next part was picking a gift for a partner and explaining why I chose it. After that, they asked about the most memorable book I've ever read.

I sent in my application online. About a week later, I got an email with details for what they called an audition, which was basically a group interview. There were about 10 of us, and the vibe was pretty chill and laid-back. We started with an icebreaker where we had to say our name and something interesting about ourselves. Then, we all got up and had to share a story about our favorite sandwich, and also share two true facts and one lie about ourselves. After that, we did some fun games. One game involved us trying to line ourselves up in order of our birthdays without speaking. Another game was a matching activity where we each had a word on our back and had to figure out our word and then find the person with the matching word. For the final part, we sat back down at the table with a book that represented us and had to explain why. Once everyone had shared their book story, we each had to choose a book for the person sitting to our left. Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable experience.

The manager had five of us in his office and encouraged an open dialogue so we could answer questions. Only a few questions like 'explain world class customer service' or 'what we would do to engage customers' were mandatory for everyone to answer. Other questions were open for anyone to answer/discuss. Interviewees shared stories of their worst customer experiences from previous jobs. He explained the time requirements for the job and shared his experience working out at a job. The manager did a good job at keeping the atmosphere light and help it be less nerve-wracking.
