The interview process was easy and straightforward, with friendly and welcoming people on the panel. No curveballs were thrown. They were quick to get back with a decision after the interview. Although the job wasn't the right fit for me in the end, it was a good experience.

I sat in the break room until the manager took me to an office. She asked me 3 situational questions and then my availability. The manager didn’t seem interested or involved and kept all conversation very minimal. I had no real opportunity to describe myself as she only asked 3 basic situational questions. I’ve worked for Iceland before, but she didn’t ask anything about that. She said I’d hear off them by the end of the week but I haven’t heard anything.

The interview was pretty quick and nice. It started with a friendly welcome that made things feel easy. Then, the interviewer asked clear questions that were easy to answer. This kept the chat focused and made sure we covered everything important in about 30 minutes. They really listened and asked good follow-up questions to get more detail. It was well-organized but flexible.

The interview process was really great, no issues. I had a lovely hiring team and no complaints. The whole process took under two weeks and was done via Teams. It seems like a great company to work for and would be really interesting with all of the innovation they release every year. I think as far as supermarkets go, this is a pretty fun employer.
