The whole thing took about 2 weeks. First there was an online assessment testing math and thinking skills. Then a virtual interview that was pretty standard and asked about my experience. The last part was a 2-hour in-person interview that had 4 different parts: talking with peers, managers, a senior manager, and the head of technology. They really dug into my experience and wanted more technical details, plus how I work with others. There was also a technical round on the basics. It was a good experience overall. I used the STAR method for my answers. Keep in mind it's an employer's market right now, so they're not rushing to hire anyone, and if I'm not the perfect fit, it's probably best for everyone to keep looking. Oh, and you have to submit referrals before the final interview, so get ready for that. Don't forget to ask questions whenever you can; it shows you're interested and you'll hear some great stories.

I went through a pretty long interview process for this role. It involved two multiple-part projects. During the second interview, they wouldn't tell me anything about the salary. They ended up cutting me after the third interview, even though I put a lot of time into the sample project. I couldn't even get basic questions answered. The third interview felt like a repeat of the second, which made me think they might not remember me or were just interviewing a lot of people.

It was pretty easy, like a chat. They asked me about my strengths and weaknesses. I didn't prepare for stuff like hobbies, but they did ask why I was interested in Hobby Lobby. After the interview, there was a math test, which was easy since I'm good at math. Calculators aren't used on the job.

Applied online and got a call about 15 minutes later for an interview. The next day, I met with the store manager for about 30 minutes. We mostly went over my resume, and then I had to take a math test with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. After passing the test, I was offered the job and given my vest and name tag. I came back the next day for orientation. It was all very straightforward.
