I went through a pretty long interview process for this role. It involved two multiple-part projects. During the second interview, they wouldn't tell me anything about the salary. They ended up cutting me after the third interview, even though I put a lot of time into the sample project. I couldn't even get basic questions answered. The third interview felt like a repeat of the second, which made me think they might not remember me or were just interviewing a lot of people.

It took a while to get this interview set up, like over two months after I applied or got reached out to by recruiters. The person who interviewed me was cool and gave me a skill test, but the instructions for it were kinda unclear.

The interview started with a casual phone chat, like a normal call. After that, I got a take-home project. Then, they covered my travel costs for an in-person interview. Be ready for more tests at the office. If you're not good with Adobe programs, it'll show during the on-site part. You can't pretend to know them. It was a good interview overall because I was ready. They can easily spot who isn't a designer before hiring.
