The interview process was smooth and professional. The interviewers were friendly and took time to explain the company and the role clearly, especially as I was coming from a different industry. The interview included general technical questions related to their products and basic server concepts. They also explained that the Remote Ops Specialist role is more focused on the Remote Ops Agent product rather than relating to operational tasks. The interview atmosphere was relaxed and there was time to clarify any doubts about the role. The offer was made about one month after the interview.

Technical

The company seems innovative with interesting IT roles, and the initial HR contact was prompt. But the recruitment process felt highly disorganized and disrespectful of candidates' time. I got a direct call from HR to schedule a technical interview for the next day and was asked to confirm attendance via email, which I did immediately. Just two hours later, I got a generic rejection email saying they had moved forward with another candidate, without any interview taking place. It seems there's no structured process (like an initial HR screening before jumping to technical rounds), which makes for confusing and frustrating applicant experiences. Better communication and consistency in the hiring workflow would really improve things. Advice to Management: Implement a clear, standardized recruitment process with proper coordination between HR and hiring teams. Avoid scheduling interviews that might be cancelled shortly after, as it wastes candidates' preparation time and damages the employer brand.

Behavioral Technical

The communication was really bad. It seems like everyone involved needs some serious training on how to manage an interview process. I was contacted for a first interview, and then heard nothing back for about a month. After that, I was moved to a second interview, which was also pretty chill. It's been another 1-2 months and still no word from HR or the hiring manager. Honestly, if the interview process is this messy, you can probably guess what working here is like. I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone I know.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The Hitachi interview process has 4 main parts. First, a Recruiter Screen via video call to check if you're a good fit and if you're interested. Then, a Team Meeting with two team members where you'll talk about your skills, how you solve problems, and show your portfolio. After that, there are Manager Interviews with two managers to go over your past work, what you want to do in your career, and what you know technically. Finally, you'll do a Design Challenge Presentation, showing your solution to two managers to see how well you can do the job and communicate your ideas.
