After an online test, about 200 students from various colleges were invited to SBG college. Upon arrival, we were informed that the consultant role required both technical and consulting abilities. The first stage was a group discussion (GD) where we were given a case study to discuss. Each GD group consisted of 8 people, and 2-3 were selected to move forward. The subsequent round was a technical interview. The interviewer posed random puzzles, such as 'Why are manholes round?' and a river crossing problem. Following the puzzles, I was asked to write a linked list program on paper. The interviewers eliminated about 90% of the candidates in this technical round, and even those who advanced were rejected before the HR round. I stayed until the end and learned that only two out of the 200 students invited were selected.
