First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Guidepoint.
Network Engineer
The interview was with a panel of one lady, and her tone was all over the place and not very professional. She talked with her hands, pointing fingers at you. It felt like a rapid-fire Q&A, with no patience, and she wasn't a good listener. It was like she crammed 5 questions into one, and while I was answering, she'd interrupt and change the whole question, expecting me to answer the new one. Seriously, chill out, the world isn't ending. This interview was a complete JOKE.
- How would you deal with issues related to latency?
- What steps would you take to resolve slow WIFI performance?
- Can you explain what DNS is and its operational mechanism?
Compliance Associate
It was a smooth and friendly process. The interviewer was very jolly and calm. I'd suggest you go through the company's website and learn about the expert network industry. Also, check out Guidepoint, Third Bridge, and GLG to get a better understanding of this entire ecosystem.
- Could you explain the meaning of a Non-Disclosure Agreement?
- Can you describe what Guidepoint does, including their business and products?
- Could you tell me about your current company's business and products?
Client Service Associate
Four round of interviews. First round was with HR to understand your take on this role and basic info about you. Second round was with a team lead, discussing your resume and skills. Third round involved another team lead doing mock cases on how to make a successful phone call. The last round was with the HR head, assessing your fit with the company culture and environment.
- Can you discuss your resume with me?
- What are your thoughts on KPI?
- How do you interpret this role?
Business Development Associate
The interview was pretty quick and organized. First, a recruiter screen, then a video call with the hiring manager and a teammate. After that, I did two mock client calls with the hiring manager, followed by a final in-person interview with the team lead. The recruiter was helpful and kept me in the loop. However, the leaders weren't on the same page about what the job entailed, like how much we'd do team events or what counted as success. I was also expecting an office tour and a chance to meet people from other teams I'd work with, but that didn't happen, which made me wonder about how open and collaborative things are. Everyone was nice, but the vibe felt a bit dull and unenthusiastic during both the video and in-person meetings. They were upfront that the job is tough and focused on performance, but I left unsure about the company culture and if the leadership team works well together. I got a standard rejection email in the end, which felt pretty impersonal.
- Did your last job involve meeting sales targets?
