First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Guidepoint.
Business Development Associate
I haven't had my interview yet, I'm writing to get access to the Glassdoor reviews. My first round is in 3 days with HR. I'll write a review once I'm done with the interview. So far, I know the questions are straightforward and are about showing why sales and Guidepoint.

The interview was pretty quick and organized. First, a recruiter screen, then a video call with the hiring manager and a teammate. After that, I did two mock client calls with the hiring manager, followed by a final in-person interview with the team lead. The recruiter was helpful and kept me in the loop. However, the leaders weren't on the same page about what the job entailed, like how much we'd do team events or what counted as success. I was also expecting an office tour and a chance to meet people from other teams I'd work with, but that didn't happen, which made me wonder about how open and collaborative things are. Everyone was nice, but the vibe felt a bit dull and unenthusiastic during both the video and in-person meetings. They were upfront that the job is tough and focused on performance, but I left unsure about the company culture and if the leadership team works well together. I got a standard rejection email in the end, which felt pretty impersonal.

Business Development
It was a three-part interview process. The first part was just an informational chat. Then, the second round involved a conversation with some higher-level managers. Finally, the third round consisted of a mock assessment, which was limited to one hour and required answering at least six questions, followed by another chat with different managers.
