First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flex.
Director, Talent Acquisition
I was referred into the role and encouraged to submit my application through the system. After taking the time to complete the application, there was no follow up, no update, and no notification that the role was closed or that I was no longer being considered. I followed up directly with a senior leader and did not receive a response. I understand hiring volume and changing priorities, but the complete lack of communication, including the absence of an automated closure email, made the process feel disorganized and dismissive of candidates’ time.

Software Engineer
It all started well, I talked to the hiring manager and they invited me to the next interviews. But then things went south. The company wanted to move fast and scheduled the next interviews for the very next day. The next day, I was told the interviewers were on PTO and had to reschedule. The interview round was rescheduled for the day after, and then again. It had to be rescheduled due to the interviewers being unavailable. Now, on the third attempt, only the interviewer for the first round showed up. The second of the two had to be rescheduled again. The interview I did have, the interviewer either didn't speak at all or spoke way too much, not letting me type a single line of code before jumping in with suggestions. I decided I had enough and would not continue.

IT Trainee
So, the interview process is like, a few steps. First, there's a written test, you know, like an aptitude test and a C coding test. Then, there are programming rounds, they go into basic and advanced stuff, focusing on DSA like Loops, Arrays, Trees, and Recursion, using C, Java, or C++. After that, there's a technical interview where they ask about CS fundamentals, web basics, JavaScript, and design. Finally, there's an HR interview to see if you're a good fit for the company culture and how you solve problems. All of this can be done virtually or in person, and it's proctored.

AI Trainer
At first the process was agile. But suddenly at the end I ended up doing 5 interviews including with a VP for an individual contributor position. After hours invested in multiple interviews (some that lasted up to an hour and a half) I didn't even receive a message from the recruiter or a termination email for the process. It gave me the impression that it was one of those “fake” processes for them to extract the know-how of what they are going to implement.
