First I got a call from the recruiter and then had a phone interview with the Engineering Manager. The chat was nice and focused on my experience for the job. After that, I had another phone interview with the Director of Engineering who asked similar questions. Then, I went for an in-house interview where I met one-on-one with the Engineering Manager and the Director of Engineering. Finally, there was a group interview with the Senior Project Engineer, Program Manager, and Design Engineers. The topics covered were based on my experience and how it applied to their areas of expertise.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you describe your experience related to the responsibilities of this position?
  • How has your experience and application been with each area of expertise?

This was for a company now part of Flex. The interview was really deep into my resume. Even though I met most of the job requirements, they seemed to really want someone with experience in advanced skills they listed as 'nice to have,' not required. It felt like they were looking to hire someone overqualified. I thought I'd move to the next interview but didn't. No biggie since they're not in a great location.
