Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flex.
Supply Chain Analyst
It was a tough interview process with many candidates vying for the role. I had the chance to interact directly with the director level management, which gave me a good understanding of the job scope. Overall, it was a good experience. The interview included some standard questions.
- Can you discuss your previous experience and how it aligns with the responsibilities of the position you are interviewing for?
Procurement Analyst
After submitting my application online, I received a call for an interview. The first stage was an aptitude test which was of average difficulty. This was followed by two interviews, one with the Team Lead and another with the Manager. If shortlisted, there was a final discussion with HR regarding my availability for joining. This whole process typically takes a full day, though sometimes it might extend to two days. After being selected, there was a waiting period for the joining date; for me, it took 3 months, and for some friends, it was delayed by up to 6 months.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What motivates your interest in a Procurement role?
- What is your understanding of Procurement and supply chain management?
Planner
The initial corporate recruitment experience was excellent, giving a good first impression. However, the local Human Resources department was very slow and unorganized, seeming burned out and unhelpful with the initial benefit enrollment process. The corporate HR site manages everything and is decent once figured out, while the local site mainly just forwards paperwork.
- I received an email a week after the interview stating that you forgot to ask me a question and asked me to call for the question. What was that question?
