Process Engineer
I had a positive interview experience. The HR representative was quite helpful, and the entire process felt efficient and swift. While the interview itself wasn't highly structured, it was effective. My advice is to be well-prepared, know your resume inside out, and good luck.
- Can you describe a project you've been involved in?
Manufacturing Engineer
Initial interview: You'll be asked to introduce yourself and describe your work and academic background, highlighting projects relevant to the position. General questions will cover your reasons for applying, your understanding of the industry and the company, and your salary expectations. Basic technical questions will touch on core manufacturing engineering concepts like production processes, continuous improvement, and quality management. Deep technical interview: Questions about your experience will delve into specific projects you've worked on, your responsibilities, and the outcomes. Hypothetical scenarios will present common industry challenges, assessing your analytical and problem-solving skills. Questions about tools will cover your familiarity with CAD, ERP, and other relevant software.
- How have you implemented improvements in manufacturing processes?
Process Engineer
HR recruiter emailed me to set up a phone screening, then ghosted me for 3 weeks. After I sent 2 follow-ups, they called out of the blue to schedule an interview for the next day with the hiring manager. The hiring manager asked me 2 questions and said I was a good fit. Right after, HR called to schedule a final interview for 8am the next morning. The final interview was with the hiring manager and his boss, where they only asked about my work experience, no industry questions or behavioral questions. I got an automated rejection email a week later.
- Can you tell me about the Six Sigma tools you utilized in your previous role?
