First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flex.
Quality Engineer
The quality manager and quality engineers explained the interview process really well. I had a super fun time during the interview itself. I genuinely enjoyed the entire experience and would love to work at Flex someday. Thanks so much for giving me the chance.
- Between metal stamping, SMT, and molding, which would you select?
Quality Engineer
The interview was good, everything was conducted well from HR to the hiring manager. The introduction was quite long, covering self-development to deep technical capabilities. You need good theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills. Everything will be discussed, like circuit diagram calculations. Leadership is also strongly required as the role involves leading a team and receiving customer feedback.
- Can you discuss your leadership experience and electrical theory knowledge?
- Tell me about a leadership experience and electrical theory.
Quality Assurance Engineer
It was a tiresome, useless and time wasting process. I got called by recruiters for 4 different positions, and I was asked general HR questions Then, I present myself 4 times for different tech interviews that were supposed to be the filter before the final interview with hiring manager. I had to use public transportation and walk for long distances to go to this interviews. I did fairly well in the interviews but failed to meet PCB manufacturing experience, I clearly indicated in my resume that I only had some theorical knowledge, but apparently they did not read it wth attention. The most uncomfortable issue was that in one ocassion the hiring manager simply did not show up, nobody knew him at the lobby; and the same thing almost happened in a 2nd time until someone went down and asked about me at the lobby, which was empty and nobody gave any info. I am very dissapointed with Flex because by the time I was called, I was looking for a job to sustain my family. They made me waste my time, money and expectations.
- In your process line, what actions would you take if you found a significant defect in a product that had already been shipped to the customer, and containment was necessary?
