First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Conduent.
Customer Service Representative
The interview was conducted over the phone and involved straightforward questions. The interviewers were pleasant and directly addressed the job description and necessary qualifications. They asked several questions related to the customer service representative role and your specific skills and attributes. It felt like a standard phone interview, and if they were impressed, they would extend an offer immediately. It was a typical, albeit average, interview experience.

HR Operations and Delivery Analyst
I had two processes with the recruiter, Miguel Martínez Reyes, who was attentive on calls. The first process with Conduent was quite good: I had follow-up and three interviews. In the end, after interviewing with the HR Manager, they stopped responding. In the second process, they scheduled an interview with two people who did not introduce themselves formally. The questions were very specific to the position, which I think is excessive for the type of work. After 15 days without any feedback, I contacted the recruiter. He just sent me an automated email saying the company decided to move forward with other candidates. It honestly seemed like a very bad experience, considering Conduent promotes itself as a great company. I don't doubt they have excellent people working there, but the recruitment process was mediocre, both from the recruiter Miguel and from those who interviewed me in the second process.
- Tell me about your time management skills.
- What are your main strengths?
- Can you describe your weaknesses?
Strategic Buyer
After clearing the first and second rounds, I got to the last HR salary negotiation round. I asked for a 50% raise from my current CTC, saying that based on market trends and industry standards, this should be in the company’s budget. The HR person said, “The company, not the market, will pay your salary. So the highest we can offer is a 30% raise.” That surprised me. It wasn’t the vibe or openness I was expecting. After thinking about it, I realized it wasn’t the kind of place I’d be comfortable working at. Looking back, I’m curious what strategy could have helped me handle that better.

Project Quality Manager
I applied online through LinkedIn and heard back via email for a phone screen pretty quickly. They scheduled me for one interviewer, but then there ended up being two, which was a bit unexpected and they didn't mention it beforehand. The interviewers seemed to repeat questions, and one commented on my resume being unclear, which was odd. The whole thing lasted about 30 minutes. I got rejected right after sending my thank you notes, with HR saying I lacked project management experience, despite my 5-6 years in the field. The salary range offered was quite low, between $38k and $57k.
- Can you describe your approach to managing stakeholder and client relationships, given their significance for this position?
