Technical Support
After applying on the website, I received an email a couple of weeks later inviting me to complete an assessment. This included a work habits/personality test, basic English, writing, and math skills, and a customer service simulation where I had to perform tasks and answer how I'd handle situations. A recruiter then contacted me for a typing and internet speed test, and I had to email the results. Finally, there was a face-to-face interview with the recruiter, where they asked about my work experience and expected me to know the company's core values and mission from their website. Basic tech support knowledge was also assessed.
- Can you share your customer service work background?
- Could you explain step-by-step how to check the connected wireless network on an iPhone?
- What's your approach to managing a challenging customer interaction?
Technical Support
I applied online and about a week later they sent an invite to set up a phone interview. It was mostly just about my work history and availability. Then, I got invited for a second interview over webcam which was pretty easy, asking similar questions but digging a bit deeper into the job specifics. After that, I had a final interview with the hiring manager, also over webcam and just as easy. They asked me some technical scenario questions and let me ask them questions too. I got an offer that same day and took it.
- Can you explain what R.A.M. does?
- Could you tell me about three favorite features of an Apple product you like, and explain your reasoning?
Technical Support
The interview process was straightforward and the interviewer was friendly. They were upfront about compensation. The interview was conducted remotely, and the company offers remote work and extensive training. There's also a good chance for quick advancement if you perform well.
- Can you tell me about your technical background?
