First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Collabera.
Senior .NET Developer
I had an initial conversation with HR about the interview process and job details. Some parts of the format and role structure they shared made me uncomfortable. I followed up to discuss my concerns and felt the format wasn't a good fit for me. The conversation became tense, and I found the response unprofessional, ending abruptly. Preet from HR asked, 'if you are not comfortable with this type of job, then what kind of job you are searching.' I believe recruiters shouldn't set limits for candidates. Interview processes should allow for open discussion and mutual clarity, making candidates feel comfortable asking questions and raising concerns without being dismissed. I hope the company can improve its communication to be more constructive and respectful during candidate interactions.

IT Support
The interview process was pretty easy and straightforward. It mostly involved basic SQL questions and some easy problem-solving ones. The interviewer was chill and asked about real-life situations. All in all, it was a simple process, not too stressful.
- Can you write basic SQL queries?
- How do you use SQL joins?
- Explain how to use 'group by' in SQL.
Talent Acquisition Specialist
It was a Campus Placement process. The first step was a Technical Round focusing on basic aptitude. Following that, there was a Group Discussion (GD) where communication skills and insights were prioritized. The final round was a Panel Interview (PI) with a Manager, which was supposed to be 45 minutes but mine went for an hour. They wanted to know why I wanted to join and what I could contribute, basically assessing my foresight and persistence.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Are you familiar with Collabera?
- What do you know about the recruitment field?
Front End Developer
So, Collabera, a headhunting firm, reached out pretty quickly after I submitted my resume. First, there was a quick phone chat with them. Then, they had me do this Glider AI Online assessment for the job. It's a pretty detailed online test with a self-intro, coding problems, and they monitor you using a browser plugin. This plugin seems to record your screen activity, including your camera and mic, and if you try to switch tabs, it automatically submits your test.
- I was asked to complete the Glider AI assessment.
- Provide a self-introduction.
- Answer coding questions.
