Senior Account Manager
The interview process had two main parts. First, an introduction and screening round where they looked at self-intro, past experience, skills, and company knowledge, checking communication, confidence, and cultural fit. Second, an in-depth discussion about role-specifics, problem-solving, client handling, and industry knowledge.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your understanding of our company and its products?
- Describe your approach to managing a dissatisfied client.
Account Manager
I was first reached out to by a recruiter on LinkedIn. Then I had a pre-screen call with a Senior Talent Partner that lasted about 20 mins. They talked about the role and asked about my background for it. After that, I heard nothing back, no feedback or anything. It was pretty unprofessional, especially for a big staffing company. They need to work on how they handle interviews.
- Can you walk me through your background as an Account Manager?
- Describe your approach to managing a large enterprise key account.
Account Manager
So when I interviewed, there were two rounds. The first round was 30 minutes with the sales manager. The second round was an in-person lunch for an hour with the team lead and sales manager. Their interviews are designed to check how extroverted you are and your ability to connect with new people. You should aim to lead the whole conversation, build a personal connection, and ask thoughtful, forward-looking questions about the role.
- What draws you to sales, and particularly to IT Staffing?
