Behavioral

The interview process was straightforward and positive. It started with an HR intro call, followed by a call with the hiring manager. The second interview had both the hiring manager and another team member. While I didn't get an offer, the team was professional and nice, letting me know they weren't moving forward. It seems like a good team and company, just not the right fit for me then.

Had five interviews with as many managers who had a technical background specific to my position. Targeted and sharp questions given the correct answers. Questions were also repeated in subsequent interviews. The atmosphere was very professional, adequate HR support, all online. No in-person meetings. Positive experience.

It started with a phone interview to get to know you. Then, there was an in-person meeting at their Racine office with a team lead to see how you would fit in and for them to get a better sense of who you are. HR took a really long time (almost 2 months) to let me know if I got the job, and I had to prompt them by letting them know I had another offer to get an answer.

I had two phone interviews for this role over the years. The first was with a recruiter, and the second was with the hiring manager and some of their team. One person on the team really wanted the job and made it known. I didn't get a great vibe from CNH overall; their pay was low compared to competitors like Cat and Deere, and they seemed to lack innovation in their vehicles. I suspect the interviewing manager might have been a diversity hire, which could explain why they struggle to attract top talent.
