Administrative Assistant
The interview process was good, I was welcomed and respected. I liked the opportunity but couldn't accept due to personal and family reasons, as well as location. The position itself was very good with benefits.
- What is your marital status?
Administrative Assistant
I applied and then had a phone interview with a recruiter about two weeks later. Then, about two weeks after that, I had a Zoom interview with the two executives I'd be working with. It's been almost six weeks since that second interview and I still haven't heard anything back, not even an email saying they went with someone else.
- The recruiter asked me to go over my resume.
- During the second interview, we discussed the responsibilities I had in my current and previous roles, and what the day-to-day of this position would entail.
Administrative Assistant
It took weeks and weeks to get a response from them. The first part of the interview process was over the phone with an outsourced company, then there was a phone interview weeks later with the hiring manager, which was very positive. After that, I was asked to come in for a face-to-face interview and was asked behavioral questions by several individuals, which also went well. The following weeks involved signing off and giving authorization for a background check, where I knew there would be no issues. Two weeks after that, I received an email stating they were going another route. In my opinion, this process was very sluggish and misleading.
- Can you handle asserting yourself and declining requests when needed?
