Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CNH Industrial.
Jovem Aprendiz
First there was a test of 15 questions in Portuguese and 15 in math, and after a while there was a group dynamic. After that, I received an email informing me of my approval and the next steps.

Placement
We started with a short video about CNH and their projects. While interviews were ongoing, everyone chatted and mingled. They interviewed several candidates for placement roles on the same day. The interviews felt really relaxed and the interviewers were super friendly. For each specific role, there was a current placement student alongside a manager. Typically, the questions are standard interview fare, but for one interview, I was hit with very specific questions about different tractor parts and if I knew what they did. I had no clue about these parts or their functions, but the interviewers were really nice about it and explained everything to me. I interviewed for three different roles that day and didn't get an offer for any of those specific roles, but I did get an offer for a different role.

Intern
It was a weak selection process, focused more on when candidates would graduate than on their skills. It was very short. The date for the group activity was announced for one day of the month (a number) and another day of the week, making it unclear which date was correct. I spent a lot of money traveling on the wrong day, though I decided to go just in case. The questions barely helped to understand the candidates. The most highlighted information was about the candidate's age, expected graduation year, and if they lived nearby and could intern for 2 years without issues. It seemed like they were looking for cheap labor instead of someone interested in growing with the company.
- Could you state your course, expected graduation date, where you live, and your preferred internship period?
