Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through a 3-step hiring process for this role. First, there was a long initial chat with HR. Then, I had to complete an Editorial Test that took about an hour and a half. After that, I had a second interview with the Team Lead, which seemed to go well because I got an email saying they liked my presentation. Unfortunately, a week later, I found out the position was on a hiring freeze and they weren't recruiting anymore.

So for the first step, they sent me this editorial task. I got a document with a bunch of tasks that I had to finish in an hour and then email back. Honestly, it felt like a lot for just one hour, though the tasks themselves weren't super complicated. I had to write summaries of articles online, both in German and English, then fix and check the facts on some summaries that were already written in English. Lastly, I had to look through a list of articles and pick out the ones that were most relevant. It was tough but doable.

Behavioral Technical

I got an internal referral and went through a few interviews. It started with a 20-minute phone screening with the recruiter. Then, I had a 1-hour interview with the manager, followed by a 30-minute interview with the manager's boss. The recruiter was super communicative and fast. Everyone I talked to was really open about the whole process and made me feel at ease during the interviews. The hour-long interview had a lot of questions, but they also left time for my questions.
