Applied for a job, but the offered pay was way below market. Interviewed anyway, and then they low-balled me with an offer for a different, worse role with a worse schedule. Major red flags throughout.

Applied through LinkedIn. Had a first 30 min chat with the recruiter, Fabiola, about my background and experience in CSM work. Then, I had a 30 min interview with the CSM Director, where they asked situational questions, which weren't too tough. After that, there was an assignment: prepare a 25 min presentation on CSM key priorities and success measurement. The final interview was 1 hour long (30 min presentation + 30 min Q&A with the CSM Director and CSM Manager). While there were lots of questions, it's manageable for those with CSM or customer-facing experience. Fabiola was super helpful, keeping me updated and providing necessary info. The organization seems great, but I accepted another offer before the final feedback.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied in early Jan and didn't hear back for a month, so I thought I didn't make it past the ATS. To my surprise, I got an email to set up a recruiter interview. The recruiter was nice, but wouldn't tell me the salary range. A week later, I had another interview, which I think went well. Then I got a presentation task for the next round. They rescheduled it, but to a time that worked for me, which was good. After the presentation, they said I'd hear back the next week. A week passed... nothing. Two weeks passed... still nothing. I emailed the recruiter to follow up and was told a few days later that I didn't get the job. I get that it could be for any reason, but it would've been polite to let me know without me having to chase them. The manager I interviewed with didn't even reply to my thank you email, probably because they already knew I wouldn't be getting a response. I was really annoyed by how this played out because my laptop broke, and I had to quickly buy a new one for the presentation (not Cision's fault, but I put a lot of effort into it, and getting ghosted felt rude). Overall, not a great experience.
