Financial Analyst
It was a mix of behavioural and technical interviews. The technical questions focused on my prior experience with benefits modelling and assessing my knowledge of the insurance industry. There were 3 interviews total: one with HR, one with the hiring manager, and one with a principal. Each interview lasted about 30-45 minutes.
- Tell me about your background in benefits modeling.
- What's your understanding of the insurance industry?
- Can you elaborate on your past work with benefits modeling?
Customer Service Representative
The whole process took a few weeks, starting with the interview, then an assessment, and finally the acceptance letter. The hiring manager interviewed me, followed by reference checks and a background check. After that, I got the job offer. Once I accepted, onboarding began with paperwork, orientation, and getting me integrated into the company.
- Can you elaborate on your experience and its relevance to this position?
- Describe a situation where you encountered a difficulty and how you successfully managed it.
- What are your thoughts on the responsibilities of this role and our company?
Multiple
This company interviewed me for multiple different open positions and it felt like a waste of time each time. It seemed like they already had someone picked from within and were just interviewing me to fulfill a requirement. Some of the management was rude and unprofessional, even mocking me. Another hiring manager had me do a sample exercise that represented the job, which took many hours, only to tell me they went with someone internal even though my work was better. Why waste my time? I won't apply again.
- Can you create a work example?
Healthcare Analyst
The interview process was friendly, straightforward, and easy. The interviewers made me feel very comfortable. There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first was with the main lead and the second was with internal leads. The questions asked were directly related to the role.
- Can you explain SQL joins?
- Tell me about your experience with Tableau.
- What is your experience with Databricks?
