Started with some cognitive and behavioral tests, then there was a recorded interview that felt totally impersonal and one-sided. If they're looking for someone who can connect with surgeons, this recorded thing doesn't seem like the right way to find that out. It doesn't really show how someone is in real life, whether they do well or poorly on these tests.
It was a three-step interview process. First, a virtual recruiter screen. Then, a virtual hiring manager interview. Finally, an in-person interview that lasted from 8 AM to 2 PM and included about eight team members across multiple sessions.
A face-to-face test was simple and direct. However, the schedules ran way over time, and there were many more candidates than planned, resulting in more than 3 hours of presentations from each candidate for only one position.
