I applied online, sending in my CV and answering some basic questions I'd already put on my CV. The interview was in person, which was a bit of a trek, over 3 hours round trip. The interviewer just went through my CV and asked me about the company and why I wanted to work there. It was a waste of time and money, especially since they rejected me for lack of experience that was obvious from my CV. They also wouldn't cover any of the costs like parking, which was £12 for an hour. I wouldn't recommend it if you're unemployed and short on cash.
This was a multi-day interview where I sat in on a surgery and met the local owner. It wasn't too hard overall. I'd recommend applying if you're eligible. The pay scale felt a bit different than other industries I've worked in, but maybe that's just how the medical field operates.
You'll start with an online interview where you answer some questions. After that, you'll have an in-person interview where you'll be asked to do 2 surgical procedures, so make sure to study up. Then, you'll move on to the third round.
