It was long, hard, and shrouded in mystery. Really stressful. It felt like they were just looking for someone who fit their vibe, which is weird when you're trying to find people who are good at safety. Like, they're only interviewing for a culture fit.
The recruiter was nice and sounded like they knew what they were talking about regarding the job. But talking to the freelance recruiter felt like a waste of time. They said a lot of good things but didn't really know the role and couldn't answer my questions. It felt like they didn't get the job details or what was needed.
I applied online and after a couple of weeks, I got an invitation for a recorded video interview. A few days after that, I heard back about a face-to-face interview in Seattle.
