Candidate-reported interview process

The interview process for this very old school company was long and drawn out, lasting about 3 months from start to finish. It began with a phone screen with a recruiter who wasn't very friendly. Then there was a Zoom call with the hiring manager, who also wasn't friendly. Following that, I had a call with the skip manager, who was okay and seemed interested in my experience. The process concluded with an in-person interview loop involving the cross-functional team and another meeting with the hiring manager. The company offices are a bit depressing and located near SeaTac. The overall process lacked clarity regarding the number of interviews and the exact ending.

I only had one call, which was an initial screening. The interviewer focused on assessing my fit for the role and didn't ask about my career goals or what I'm looking for in a job. It felt like a one-way interview, which I haven't experienced since early in my career.

I had one phone interview that was like a screening, it lasted about 20 minutes. After that, I had a second 1 on 1 interview with HR, which went for about an hour. The whole process was great and the people were great too.
