The recruiter called me for an initial chat and then we did a telephonic round. Since they wanted to know more, they scheduled a screening round for the next day. This round was about 45 minutes, and the interviewer asked me about 10 to 20 questions related to AI, which were behavioural, situational, and outcome-based. They also asked for a lot of personal details. The next day, I called for an update, and the recruiter mentioned they were looking for female candidates, which I found quite surprising.

I got selected by Zycus during campus placements. The interview process was super long, like 12 hours straight, from 9 AM to midnight. After passing, I got an Offer of Intent for Procurement Analyst with a 4.5 LPA package. They said I'd join in August 2024. I kept in touch with HR, and they first confirmed August, then pushed it to October 2024, and then again to April 2025. It was tough waiting and not looking elsewhere because the job market was bad. When April 2025 came, the HR person I'd been talking to wasn't there anymore. I went to the office myself and found out the Procurement Analyst job I was offered was cancelled, and they had no openings for it. They offered me a Tech Support role instead. Honestly, the HR people were really unprofessional and rude about it, very dismissive. The whole experience showed they didn't care about candidates and broke their commitment.

Behavioral Technical

This is the second time I've interviewed for this role. My resume is the same, and they asked the exact same questions as before. The job description doesn't seem to align with what they're actually looking for. The HR screening felt like a technical interview, which makes me question the recruiter's grasp of technical marketing concepts. They also didn't share any details about the work, team, or compensation, making it feel like a one-sided conversation. I'd really recommend the HR team and the hiring manager get on the same page first to avoid wasting candidates' time and effort.

The interview process started with a technical round covering basic Java, Selenium, and billing concepts. They asked for a self-introduction focusing on automation, a description of the framework used, and specific technical questions like printing dropdown values, removing symbols from strings, TestNG grouping, and adding priority in TestNG. The second round was a more difficult technical assessment. Finally, there was an HR interview. Best of luck!
