Sales
The interview process is pretty simple. First, you talk to one of the Associates that has been working there for a couple months. Then you talk to the Director of the company (5 minutes). In my case, I had to talk to a person that has been working there for 3 years. I was asked about my aspirations, my experience, etc. They express their interest right away if they think you are a good fit and contact you in 1-2 days.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next 5 years?
- What motivated your application for this specific company and role?
Account Executive
I applied for the job and they reached out for a call to ask some basic qualifying questions, then invited me to a preliminary online interview. Luckily it was digital 'cause I didn't have transport at the time. It was HireVue, super easy, did it on my phone after using the practice questions. They liked it, and I got a call back that same evening for an in-person/final interview. The person who called me gave a quick company overview but talked way too fast and just kept saying 'awesome awesome' after my answers, which felt weird and impersonal, almost made me not want to continue lol. The in-person interview was really thorough. I wasn't familiar with a lot of the sales/marketing terms, so I wasn't totally sure what I was getting into, but I knew I needed sales experience. They gave me the full details on pay, how to advance, grow, and the day-to-day tasks, but it was phrased really well so it sounded way better than it actually is, which is why I didn't really grasp what the day actually involved, and I didn't know what questions to ask to clarify.

Assistant General Manager Trainee
I was quickly brought in for one interview to 'match a face to a name.' The next day, I came in for a more comprehensive interview. I arrived for round two at the same time as several other applicants and was assigned an employee for a 'casual talk' to 'get to know each other and the company.' This employee took me out for coffee in their car for what they called a friendly chat, but it felt like a way to create a captive audience. Once at the coffee shop, they started pitching a sales plan, calling it 'not really sales, just helping people, just having honest conversations.' This 'friendly conversation' was happening in a coffee shop where leaving meant getting back in their car. There was social pressure to stay and listen to the pitch, even though I didn't want the job. I applied for 'Assistant General Manager Trainee' but was interviewed for 'door to door salesman,' which seems to be the only role they're hiring for, despite many job postings like 'Sales Team Leader' and 'Training Management Opportunity.' I suspect they all lead to this one job because it's a multi-level marketing scheme. Advancement relies on 'training four other people to be more successful than you,' which involves them recruiting others, and so on. They present this as a positive, competitive environment, but it feels like a predatory structure exploiting desperate workers. I think this should be illegal, so tread carefully.
- What is your ranking of importance for Money, Culture, and Opportunity?
Management Trainee
I got a call out of the blue from a company, probably from my Ziprecruiter resume, and they scheduled me for an interview the very next day. It was a quick 20-minute chat with the CEO, who was super nice but surprisingly didn't ask anything about my past work. He said I'd hear back the same day about moving to the next round, and sure enough, I got a call that Monday for another interview that lasted about 4 hours. It felt pretty easy and chill. I left feeling good about it, but I've decided against taking the job. I didn't check Glassdoor beforehand, but now I see reviews saying it's actually a door-to-door sales job with commission only, which is not what I'm looking for. They never mentioned this upfront, and I feel like they should be clear about that from the start.
- In your opinion, where will you be in five years?
- Can you name three words that you feel describe you best?
- What is one aspect of yourself that you believe requires improvement?
