Customer Success Manager
So Wunderkind's interview process was really well thought out and organized. Started with a recruiter chat, then a panel with some CSMs. After that, I met with the hiring manager, and we did a mock QBR where I talked about lifecycle strategy and gave some client recommendations. The last part was a technical review, covering platform setup, tagging, troubleshooting, and how I'd handle technical client questions. Every part felt important, no wasted time, and I got a solid understanding of the job and the team. It was tough but in a good, collaborative way.

Data Analyst
The interview process included a screening with the recruiter, a case study, and then two panels with two interviewers each. It was a pretty straightforward process. My only complaint is that the recruiter was unresponsive to my emails. I tried to ask questions about the panels, like if I needed to prepare a presentation for the case study or if there would be live SQL questions where I'd have to write a query. I also asked for the interviewers' emails to send thank you notes afterward. He never responded unless it was to let me know I was moving on or got rejected. It felt like I was being ignored. Aside from that, everyone I spoke with was really nice and pleasant.

Business Development Representative
I applied at Wunderkind for the nyc BDR team. Even with 3 years of AE experience I was willing to consider the title cut to get my foot in the door and was thrilled to be contacted by the recruiter. Intro call went great, felt like we built a strong rapport, etc. asked me to complete a short "assessment" before moving forward. Simple enough but definitely a lift - I put in a lot of intention into making sure the hiring managers got to know a well rounded picture of my candidacy - about a page and a half long. sent it back to the recruiter (who was pretty responsive before this). they responded with appreciation, saying they would like to move forward with scheduling with the team, and asked for availability over the next week which I responded with immediately. I followed up 4 separate times and was completely ghosted - first, to share additional availability after the first window I shared over the following 3 days had past, second about a week later kindly requesting an update, and 2 more times over the following weeks gently reemphasizing my eagerness to join the company. they never responded. such a disappointing candidate experience especially after putting so much thought into the "assessment" - why not just say we're moving forward with other candidates?

Customer Success Manager
The hiring process for the Customer Success Manager position at Wunderkind was a letdown, not matching the great impression the company's online presence gave. It started well with good comms and scheduling from recruiting. The company’s website and marketing materials looked really good, showing what seemed like an open and nice place to work with good benefits. But the interviews didn't match up. In the second interview, the interviewer seemed bored and asked basic, sometimes weird questions instead of having a real chat. The behavioural questions didn't seem to fit the job, making the experience weird and making me wonder if the interviews actually matched the role. The interview was also super one-sided, with barely any time for my questions, making it feel rushed and like they didn't care. To top it off, the rejection email was super generic with no personal touch or feedback, making the whole thing feel cold. Another big issue was how long and complicated the interview was. There were four parts, including a live task or roleplay, which felt like too much and added stress. It was a lot, especially for a role that should have had a simpler hiring process. It’d be good if Wunderkind asked for feedback from people they interview. Interviewers forget it’s a two-way street, and candidates should get to give feedback on how it went. So, while the company looked good online, the interview process was pretty bad and didn't feel as professional or engaging.
