Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wunderkind.
Product Manager
The interview process had 11 rounds in total, starting with an initial HR call. They were really organized and quick about setting up the next steps, though it ended up taking about two months from the first interview until I got the offer. The team members I met were sharp and had solid experience in their areas. The interviews themselves felt like a medium difficulty, and they tried hard to keep things conversational.
- Can you explain the distinction between supervised and unsupervised learning?
- What's your approach to prioritizing features?
- What metrics or indicators do you use to determine if a feature is successful?
Product Strategist
I went through 3 rounds of interviews and then got ghosted. After one round, I kind of understood, but after a few hours of interviews, prep and meeting the team, the recruiter should at least send a quick email saying they are heading in another direction. I followed up twice and never heard back, which shows their respect for candidates. It's a shame because I would have been interested in joining Wunderkind later in my career, but this experience has put me off the company. Anyway, I've already accepted another position and (based on Glassdoor reviews) dodged a bullet.

Associate Product Manager
I went through three rounds of interviews. The people were nice and the interviews were conversational. They told me I would hear back after the third round, but then they ghosted me. It was disappointing to be ghosted after spending so much time on the interview process.
- Can you describe an instance where you had to deal with a difficult customer?
