The interview went really well. I used the STAR method to structure my responses, which helped me stay clear, confident, and organized throughout the conversation. The questions were straightforward and aligned with my experience, so I felt prepared. The interviewer was very pleasant, professional, and easy to talk to.
- Could you share an instance where you dealt with a challenging customer?
- Can you describe a situation where you had to work under a strict deadline?
- Tell me about a mistake you made in a previous role and how you addressed it.

I agree with others that this is not a great interview experience. It was a 15 minute screen call of rapid fire questions. There was zero intro about the job or the team. It felt like a personality quiz fit from the beginning. I was not able to expand on my skills. I was more than qualified for this role and had completed every responsibility in other roles. The interviewer was standoffish and did not care to get to know me or my background. I would've made a great impact in this role but because of bad interviewing they rejected me.
- Can you share a misconception about yourself and what you'd like to work on?
- Tell me about your previous role and an issue you encountered.
- What was your previous role and name an issue you had in that role?

The interview was really strange. The interviewer kept asking personal questions about my current job, my boss, and why I was looking to leave. She asked the same questions over and over. I eventually told her I didn't want to speak negatively about my current employer and asked how her questions related to the job I applied for. The interviewer was confrontational and not friendly at all. All her questions felt like an interrogation rather than genuine inquiries about my experience and skills. Just when I thought we were done with why I was leaving my current company, she'd ask another question about dealing with a tough supervisor or why I found it easier to leave after a few months instead of fixing the problem. I kept telling her I wasn't going to badmouth my current job, no matter how she rephrased it or how many times she asked. I ended up cutting the interview short and said I wasn't interested anymore. She didn't ask anything about my skills or experience. It seems like they have issues with employee retention and want to see if candidates can handle difficult supervisors, which is probably why she kept asking those questions.
- Tell me about why you are departing from your present employer.
- What's the reason you're looking to leave your current job?
- Can you explain your decision to leave your current employer after just a few months?

It wasn't really an interview, more like a personality quiz, like they just pick friends. She didn't ask about my skills for growing the company or find out I work for their main competitor through an agency, or that I've admired them for ages. So, it was a shame for both of us. I'm sure management would want to know this interview process is happening and that the interviewer is just picking based on who she likes. It might filter out some neurodivergence and different thinking, but it's not picking skilled or qualified people. The interviewer even said she likes to make the questions 'a little different' just 'cause she likes to be different. I don't think the interviewer should be trying to entertain themselves. The whole thing felt negative, focusing on 'what's your weakness,' 'tell me about conflict,' and 'what demotivates you.' This 'interview' really changed my view of Webstaurant. I'll probably just stick with their competitor.
- What are you weakest at?
- Can you share an instance where you learned from a teammate or leader and how it affected you?
- Describe a situation where you received criticism, how it affected you, and how you responded.
