The interview process started with a phone screening with Eva, who was great and represented the company well. Next, I had to complete three writing tasks: editing a product description, writing a new product description, and submitting a personal writing piece without any specific focus. The second round was a video interview over Teams with two managers. They mainly asked behavioral questions, not really about the job specifics or my knowledge of the role. They mentioned a potential third interview with another manager/supervisor if I were selected. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to that third round. What was really disappointing was the complete lack of feedback on both the interviews and the writing samples, despite the hours I invested in preparing and crafting them. They didn't even acknowledge them, which felt disrespectful.

The interview process started with me having to edit some content they sent and also write about a product they picked, plus I had to give them samples of my work, which was pretty straightforward. Then there was a phone interview with a content development specialist, which was super chill and easy. She really listened and asked follow-up questions based on what I said. The questions were basic stuff like 'tell me about yourself,' my work history, and what I'm looking for in an employer. After that, I had a video interview, which also seemed easy. I think I figured out why they ghosted me, and it's honestly a silly reason. I'm really qualified for this job, and I suspect the only 'mistake' I made was mentioning that I sometimes work from places other than home, like cafes. This wasn't brought up in the phone interview, so I'm pretty sure that's what cost me the job, which is super frustrating. Also, getting ghosted is a big letdown. We had great communication before the video interview, and I thought it was a good company, but not anymore. Still, it was a good interview experience overall.

The first virtual interview went fine. They then had me do an aptitude test manipulating photos, but they wanted me to use software they provide after hire. I used an older PS version and tried to follow vague instructions. They sent a broken link for submitting files, and when I sent them as attachments, they said they couldn't open them. I finally got the files to them via another sharing site, only to be told I didn't meet their expectations. They felt I was being messed around, and that manipulating product photos isn't hard. If they wanted it done a specific way, that should be in training. It seemed like they had their person and were wasting my time.
