Applied online. Got an email back asking for my availability of when I'm free to interview. I had listed my available times to the technical recruiter. The email from the recruiter, confirming an interview time, was sent to me while my phone was on do not disturb (I was at the gym)--I must have missed it completely. I had always wondered if the recruiter just forgot to email me back to confirm my interview time. Fast forward a week, I missed my interview when the technical phone recruiter tried calling, as I had absolutely no idea the interview had been successfully set up. I own up to my mistake of missing my interview. I call up the recruiter an hour later to schedule it for the next day. We begin the phone screen, but I realized there was no way I had a shot at actually getting the role since it was extremely unprofessional of me to miss my interview. I think there should've been some sort of confirmation on my end, because there was never an option to click "confirm interview time" on my end etc. But ultimately it was my mistake.

The first two interviews went well, but then there was a super long wait, like over a month, between rounds with no word. I tried to follow up for feedback, but the hiring team totally ghosted me. My emails asking for feedback have been ignored for more than a month now. Honestly, the whole thing felt disorganized and negative, like they didn't respect my time or the people they interview. No empathy at all.

It was a video call, and it was not stressful at all. It's very easy to answer questions if you have the maintenance experience. Just be confident and on time. Go into details about your strengths and weaknesses in the field. For example, I know plumbing and general maintenance very well. I have a foundation of electrical knowledge, but when it comes to appliances, my knowledge is limited.

I interviewed for the Owner Relationship Manager role. The first step was a call with the internal recruiter, who was friendly and positive. She set up a Zoom interview with the area manager. I did a lot of research and practiced questions. In the Zoom interview, two people showed up, not the one I was expecting. One was conversational, the other seemed distracted and bored, droning on about the company. Then the first guy asked me scenario questions, which I found ridiculous. They didn't learn anything about me, and I didn't get the job, which is fine because their employee reviews are terrible. They scoffed at my questions at the end, which was annoying. I'm glad I didn't get the job as I have a great job elsewhere now.
