Behavioral Case

The initial chats with the recruiter and hiring manager were great, totally on time and friendly. But after those first calls, it got pretty bleak. It took almost 3 months from submitting my resume to wrap things up. I ended up doing 7 interviews and a case study. I spoke with about a dozen people and had to chase down the recruiter a few times for info they'd promised but never sent. The interviewers seemed kind of drained and put out, which, fine, I get it. None of them seemed to have looked at my resume beforehand – a couple even admitted it. They didn't give any feedback after saying they picked someone else, but it came out that my lack of experience was an issue. Not sure if I should be pleased I made it that far with less experience or annoyed I was led on for so long when my resume had an obvious problem. Definitely wasn't a top-tier experience, felt like they were still figuring things out. I'm sure it'll get better. Honestly, by the end, I was okay with how it turned out.

Behavioral Technical

Applied online and was contacted for an HR screen about a week later. The initial phone screen was straightforward and the interviewer was pleasant. Following that, I advanced to a final round interview with a PM, which felt conversational. Notably, the HR representative provided an incorrect meeting time and duration, and the interviewer was also tardy. Although I was initially told I'd receive feedback within a week, I heard nothing. Several weeks passed before I got an email from a different recruiter stating there was one more interview. Despite significant preparation, the interviewer failed to attend our virtual meeting, and I never heard back from that recruiter. This experience makes me hesitant to consider this company for internships, though I can't comment on full-time roles. After three years of internship interviews, this was the most disorganized and unprofessional process I've encountered. This situation compelled me to write a review.

It was a long, fully remote interview process. Started with a recruiter screen. Then I had to prepare a case study for the first interview with the hiring manager and an engineer. After that, there was a panel interview with more team members. The final round was another panel interview with senior team members. So, I met with 10 people in 4 sessions. Everyone was nice and it seemed like a good team culture.
