First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at United Launch Alliance.
Aerospace Engineer
The interview process was pretty straight forward with two interviews planned. The first one was just a call with a recruiter over the phone where they focused on my interest in the role. I didn't make it to the second interview, but the recruiter was really nice and communicative about a lot of important things.
- Can you tell me about a course you took where you did really well?
Technician
The interview process was easy and they asked simple questions. They asked about my experience and expected pay. I was asked if I believed in something greater than myself. The manager didn't seem to care about work-life balance and didn't want to discuss it. Two people who run the place together were doing a bad job.
- Are you willing to work holidays and weekends?
Business Support Representative
It was a 3 part interview process. The first part was a phone screening with the recruiter, second was a teams meeting with the hiring manager, and the last was an in-person panel interview with 4 people. Overall, the process was straight forward and everyone was nice. The in-person interview involved a lot of STAR method type questions.
- How do you manage your organization when handling multiple tasks simultaneously?
Systems Test Engineer
So I applied and like, the next morning, I got an email to set up a phone screen. We set it up for a few days later. Then, about two weeks after that, I had a video call with one person, lasted about 30 minutes. They told me they were gonna move me to the next round and gave me some easy technical questions to prep for the next interview. The next round was about a week later, had it with a few people, lasted an hour. Two days after that, they let me know I didn't make it to the next stage.
- Can you explain the working principle of a pressure transducer?
