Industrial Engineer
So after applying, I heard back in about six days. The process had two parts, and each part was about an hour long. There was a quiz online and then a phone call where they asked me technical stuff. I talked to two people overall.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Lean Six Sigma?
- Have you had any experience with machining before?
Manufacturing Engineer
Applied online, then got a call from HR two days later saying they were interested. The phone screen was a few weeks after that, then a 30-minute phone interview with an engineering manager. It wasn't too hard, just be ready to talk about your resume and answer simple behavioral questions. The on-site interview was a panel with an engineering operations manager and a quality assurance lead. The interview is pretty chill, and my interviewers said that was the goal. They talked about the job, asked about ten behavioral questions, and then you get to ask questions. Some questions will make you think, and a lot of them are based on experience. Be ready to talk about project and technical experience, and what was the result, as those were the hardest questions for me. The whole on-site interview lasted about an hour, with a short tour of the manufacturing plant afterwards.
- Can you describe a situation where you applied technical knowledge gained from school to a real-life scenario?
Manufacturing Engineer
I was in contact with a Recruiter at first, but was given an interview with a team after about a week. There were three other people in the call, one of which would have been my direct superior had I been hired. The other two were nearby managers.
- Given your qualifications, why do you think you are a good fit for this role?
- Could you describe a personal weakness?
- What is your interest in ULA?
