First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Taco Bell.
Team Member
It was a really laid-back interview, but they asked a bunch of questions. They started with a self-introduction and then asked about why I was interested in Taco Bell. It was a one-on-one chat with the shift leader, and they were pretty casual about it. The most important thing for them was to know my availability, especially for summer and holidays, which ended up helping me get the job.
- Can you share how you would handle a customer who is being difficult?
Cashier
It was pretty simple and easy. They asked about what I expected from the job, my past experience, and when I could work. I had to pass a drug test and get a health certificate, and then I started about a month after that. The managers were cool and understanding, and they even trained me in other areas too.
- Can you tell me about your availability and experience?
- What are your expectations for this role?
- Can you pass a drug test and do you have a health certificate?
General Manager
The AI system set up an interview for me pretty fast. But, the area coach I was meant to talk to didn't show up. The GM was cool though, and came over to chat for a bit. She said she got pulled into some emergency. She promised to have the coach call me, but they never did. It felt pretty unprofessional.
- No questions were asked because the interviewer never showed up for the interview.
Cassiere

We'll explain what the job is like and what our company is all about. We want to make sure you fit in, have the right attitude, can solve problems, and communicate well.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
