First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Taco Bell.
Team Member
It was a really laid-back interview, but they asked a bunch of questions. They started with a self-introduction and then asked about why I was interested in Taco Bell. It was a one-on-one chat with the shift leader, and they were pretty casual about it. The most important thing for them was to know my availability, especially for summer and holidays, which ended up helping me get the job.
- Can you share how you would handle a customer who is being difficult?

The Taco Bell hiring process is pretty fast and chill. First, they look at your application. Then, you'll have a quick chat, either in person or on the phone, with the manager. They'll ask you stuff about working with others, when you can work, and how you deal with customers.
- What makes you want to join our team?

This was my first hiring party so I wasn't sure what to expect. There were about 30 people there with me. We learned about the company's history and were asked about it. We then designed a drawing for a potential new menu item and had to present it. After that, we were called up individually for the interviewing part. The person interviewing me was really nice and positive, making me feel comfortable. It was a good interview overall, but they don't contact you if you don't get the job.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- Can you share something about the company's history?
- Can you design a drawing for a possible new menu item?
