I had my interview in the morning and the people conducting it were really nice. I actually enjoyed the whole experience. It was a good conversation, and I shared some information about myself. I also asked them some questions. Since this was my first job interview, I felt confident when it ended. I was even offered the job.

The whole thing took about 45 minutes. They started by explaining the job and what they were looking for, and then asked if I had any questions for them. After that, we got into the interview questions. I was interviewed by the imaging manager and one of the ultrasound techs. They had a list of questions and would pick one out to ask me. Most of the questions were situational, and a few were about protocols.

Saturn is a huge employer here and they're hiring a ton. Because of the volume, they've lost their candidate experience touch. As an experienced HR pro interviewing other HR pros, I expect more. They rely heavily on their enterprise software due to the sheer number of candidates. They don't build any relationships with candidates, either before or during the interview. The 30-minute interview slot was cut short to 20 minutes and felt rushed, and the overall process isn't very welcoming. The hiring manager was chewing gum during our interview, which is unprofessional.

The interview process was pretty disorganized with minimal communication from the recruiter. Initially, I received a meeting invite for the very next day without any prior check on my availability. Adding to the confusion, the invite included another candidate's resume, making me unsure if the interview was actually meant for me. A second interview was also scheduled via a meeting invite, which we had to reschedule. Despite these hiccups, the interviews themselves went well, and I had a good conversation with the hiring manager and the management team.
