First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sutter Health.
Manager
The whole process took about 2 months from applying. It was a long process. I went through 2 panel interviews with about 6 people each, and then a one on one with the hiring director. Make sure you're ready to answer a lot of questions from everyone on the panel. It was about average difficulty compared to other places I've interviewed. They really scrutinized my resume to check its accuracy.
- How would you approach challenging circumstances?
- Describe how you would manage difficult situations.
- What are your strategies for dealing with tough scenarios?
Manager
The process included a phone interview with the recruitment manager, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, and then several panel interviews. The recruitment manager was thorough and asked good questions, giving a clear picture of the organization, culture, and role challenges. The panel interviews weren't great, with too many people who didn't seem very involved. Interviewing should be a two-way street, marketing the company to candidates.
- How would you drive change in an organization with a strong culture and established business practices?
- What are your methods for measuring and rewarding success?
- How do you foster team engagement and ensure alignment with the mission?
Site Manager
I went through 3 rounds of interviews, and one of them was a panel interview where I met with the entire Business Office supervisory and management team.
