Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sutter Health.
Integration Analyst
I talked to the PM first, skipping HR/recruiting entirely, and it went well. She set up a group panel meeting for the next week. In that final meeting, each of the five interviewers asked me a behavioral question.
- Describe a situation where you disagreed with an assigned task.
- Share an instance when you lacked motivation for a project.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a colleague.
Analyst
The entire interview took about 2.5 hours. It consisted of a panel of staff and management asking questions, mostly related to analytics and how you would approach difficult situations. Then, there was an Excel and analytical test where you had to explain your findings.
- What's the reason for your departure from your current role?
Analyst
The interview process was quite straightforward. It involved an interview panel which included the hiring manager or supervisor, along with other team members from the department. They asked typical analyst support-related questions and assessed computer skills. The job description was covered, and the selection process was also explained.
- Standard questions often found online were asked during the interview.
