The interview process started with a recruiter chat, and then I met with the hiring managers at their office. It all went pretty smoothly. It felt like a good way to check if we were on the same page about goals and stuff, plus meeting face-to-face was good to see if we'd get along.

There were 2 rounds total. The first one was with an HR rep and it went pretty well. However, the second round with the hiring managers was a bit weird. They didn't seem very engaged and looked bored. When I asked questions about the Starcom work environment, they were really quiet about answering questions about the agency's future plans for programmatic advertising because of 'secrecy,' which made me wonder how stable the team would be long-term. Also, the hiring managers were insistent that you'd be on your own, with not much support from them. This doesn't sound like an inclusive and collaborative workplace.

I applied for the role and got a referral. It was a pretty straightforward process: first, a recruiter call, then one round with two interviews, one with an Assistant Director and another with a Director. The interviews themselves weren't too tough. What went wrong was about a week later, the recruiter told me the feedback was great but they needed to interview more candidates. I followed up a couple of weeks later and was told they'd have an update in 1-2 weeks. After two more weeks passed, I received an automated rejection email. It was really unprofessional not to get a personal email from the recruiter, especially since they had called me and given me positive feedback. It felt like I was just their backup.

I had two online interviews for a Search Manager position. Each interview was with a different manager. I wasn't given a detailed job description. The questions were the same in both interviews, and the interviewers seemed uninterested, letting me lead most of the conversation. They couldn't provide details about the position, growth opportunities, or workplace arrangements, stating they were "still unsure of the details." I was ghosted afterwards.
