Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interviews themselves with the team were good, and the HR person was nice and responsive, but I was really let down by their operations. I got through 4 interview rounds (the 4th interviewer didn't even show up and I had to reschedule), and HR told me I'd know about next steps early the next week. Then HR told me they were thinking about an internal hire, so I figured the job was going to them, and I was right. About 2 weeks later, the same HR manager called and said they reopened the position because they needed another Senior Associate. Great! Then they said, 'we'll either have another interview for you or draft up that offer later.' The next day, it happened again, HR called and said it was promotion time and the team was considering internal people for the role again, and thanked me for my time. A whole month of interviews, emails, prep, and over 5 calls with HR, only for the job to be given to an internal hire TWICE. Not shocked, not upset, just disappointed.

Behavioral Technical

The first step is a phone screen where HR will ask general questions and some simple math problems. It's a good idea to be ready for these and maybe have a calculator handy if you tend to get stressed. Next up is an in-person interview, which could be with different teams that have openings. You'll typically meet with at least two people who are supervisors or higher. You'll get feedback fairly quickly, usually within a few days, about whether you got the job.

First, there is a phone screening where they want to check your math skills, general communication skills, and understand your experience. Then, there is an in-person interview where you'll meet with 3-5 people about different skills and topics. It's all pretty behavioral and fit based. Remember to come with questions.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you share an experience where you led a team?
  • Describe a situation where you demonstrated leadership.
  • Tell me about a time you stepped up and acted as a leader even without a formal title.
