First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Starcom Worldwide.
Manager
The interviews with the team were good and they were nice. However, I felt like I was being led on. For instance, one team member told me how short-staffed and burnt out the team was, while others said I would get to leave on time daily. Also, talks with HR were awkward to the point where I was accused of lying about my salary and scolded for trying to negotiate terms that weren't met. It's a shame because it could have been a good opportunity, but I can't compromise on transparency and respect.
- Can you describe your current role and what you're responsible for?
- How often do you interact with clients in your current position?
- Who is your direct supervisor?
Planning Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, and I completed the task they gave me. They mentioned I'd get an update, but despite following up, I never heard back. This is the fourth time a company Publicis has presented to me has done this. They're the ones who initially reach out about these opportunities, but the consistent lack of response is really wearing me down. It honestly feels like they're messing with people's heads at this point.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
- Have you held any management positions in the past?
Assistant Manager
The interview process started with a campus placement aptitude test that covered Quant, DI LR, and English. This was followed by an HR round, and the final round was at the Mumbai office. It was a very relaxed interview, involving some technical questions and questions about my fields of interest. Overall, it was a good experience with friendly and helpful staff.
- Can you write an ad copy for xyz thing?
