Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Starcom Worldwide.
Analyst
It wasn't too complicated, they just wanted to make sure I had the experience my resume said I had. They were also trying to see if I was a good fit for the team and culture. They asked me about platforms I'm familiar with and other skills.
- How proficient are you with Excel?
- Which DSPs have you worked with?
Analyst
I went through 2 interview rounds. The first one was about my past experience, and the second involved a case study presentation. Overall it was a good experience, but the HR part was really messy. They didn't stick to what we agreed on during the first HR call, and they didn't even bother to tell me. I had to follow up with them a lot!
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- Please present your case study assignment.
Analyst
I had a quick phone call with the hiring manager, and after that, they invited me for an in-person interview. During the in-person, I met with four different people. The questions were pretty direct and mostly asked about my past experience in the field.
- Could you share an instance where your communication was not effective and what you took away from that experience?
